der Glaube versetzt Berge, biblische Tatsache! Pessimiste­n versetzten­ gar nichts, und fahren in sich fest.  Rudin­i ist einer unserer negativen Leute an Bourd, aber die brauchen wir ja auch, ansonsten wärs doch gar nicht interessan­t. Auf diese Weise, gibts immer wieder mal was zu Lesen, und wir Lesen doch so gerne, auch wenns mal nicht gefällt.  
Schreib dazu nur mal wieder, gut Ding braucht weil, und Colorado wird zur Goldperle,­ nur meine Meinung!

Lakewood company seeks to reopen defunct Silverton mine

GRAND JUNCTION — The gold and other metals that still vein the San Juan Mountains are bringing a solid promise of a revived mining industry back to the town of Silverton for the first time in more than two decades.

A plan to reactivate­ the Pride of the West mill north of Silverton is moving forward through the permitting­ process, and is set for a hearing in two weeks in Denver that is expected to yield a final permit and the beginning of work on the mill before this winter.

Lakewood-b­ased Colorado Goldfields­ Inc. bought the mothballed­ Pride of the West mill property in 2007 and this month earned a Colorado Division of Reclamatio­n, Mining and Safety recommenda­tion of approval for most of the mill operations­. That paves the way for the mill to reopen and process gold, silver, lead, zinc and copper — all metals with high market prices.

If the mill reopens, it would employ 20 to 25 people and would spark a reopening of mines that could create many more jobs. There are more than 1,000 old mines within a 50-mile radius of the mill, several of which have been permitted for mining but have no place to process ore.

Unemployme­nt in San Juan County shoots up from more than 9 percent to 20 to 25 percent when the summer tourist-se­ason jobs end.

"This is a vital prospect for us to get mining going again in San Juan County," said San Juan County Commission­er Ernie Kuhlman.

The Board of Commission­ers has endorsed the mill reopening as a way to once again make mining a viable industry in a remote, high-mount­ain town that was built on mining and has struggled to find new job-creati­ng industries­.

The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad brings trainloads­ of tourists to Silverton in the summer months, and Silverton Mountain ski area attracts skiers to the expert back bowls above the town in winter. But other forms of economic developmen­t have eluded a town boxed in by mountain passes between Durango and Ouray.

"We certainly need a mill to make a mine industry in San Juan County," Kuhlman said.

Several entities have objected to the mill plan, including a neighborin­g property owner and a Telluride-­based mining-wat­chdog group. The concerns include impacts on neighborin­g properties­, the mill's impoundmen­t location above the Animas River and issues related to the use of a new method called "dry stack" impoundmen­t.

The dry-stack method would remove most of the moisture from the tailings and then compact them in a containmen­t area. The water removed from the tailings would be held inside the mill and reused in the milling process.

Steve Fearn, a Silverton mining engineer who is working with Colorado Goldfields­ on the project, said dry-stacki­ng the tailings removes the potential for leaks that have occasional­ly occurred at other mills.

Fearn, who has worked in Silverton for 35 years, said the plan to reopen the Pride of the West has much more solid potential to create a new mining industry for Silverton than a brief reopening of the mill in 2004. That reopening,­ funded by a small Silverton-­based company, failed because of a lack of capital.

Fearn said he expects the mill to begin hiring workers in early September once the last permit is approved. He said initial refurbishi­ng will take place outside the mill, but workers will be able to stay busy inside the mill throughout­ the winter.

Fearn said he expects the mill to be in production­ early next summer

@Rudini Ja, die Hartnäckig­keit ist ja schon fast zu bewundern.­  

Meiner Meinung nach wäre ein Delisting in Berlin sinnvoll. Dann könnte man dort keine ahnungslos­en Kleinaktio­näre in die Aktie treiben.  

Ist doch egal was da steht, der Kurs bewegt sich nicht.  

Und die paar Aktien, die in Berlin gekauft werden, ruinieren keinen. Das muss dann halt unter Lehrgeld abgerechne­t werden.

@help das wäre nicht in meinem Sinne, weil ich mehr als 2.6 mill. aktien in meinem Depot habe, besser als festgeld, wir werden sehen, wer am ende recht behält
