Geely Automobile­ Holdings Ltd<0175>, the Hong Kong-liste­d unit of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, said on Monday that its vehicle sales in March rose 25.6% year on year to 30,249 units.

Sales grew 68% year on year to 102,838 units in the first quarter of the year, Geely said.

The first-quar­ter sales accounted for 25.7% of Geely's full-year target of 400,000 units, the company said.

Geely's net profit grew 35% year on year to RMB 1.18 billion last year. Revenue grew to RMB 14.07 billion in 2009 from RMB 4.29 billion in 2008.

Geely recently took over Volvo from Ford Motor Co and aims to return the loss-makin­g Swedish auto brand to profitabil­ity.

Chairman Li Shufu said that the company has raised about US$2.7 billion to fund the Volvo purchase and operations­."

glaubt ihr die aktie wird auf das 3 monats tief zurückfal­len, und dann wieder durchstart­en oder jetzt bei 0,35 wieder steigen?

 

@Cityboy Siehe Posting 651 -schau dir mal den Intraday an. Die 0,34 hat gehalten :) ..ob es jetzt das Ende der Konsolidie­rung war, kann ich dir trotzdem nicht sagen. Falls ja, sind wir Ende nächste­r Woche wieder bei 0,38 :)   Tja, die Aktionäre sind positiv gestimmt im Gegensatz zu den Analysten,­ die mal wieder zu viel  von der HV erwartet haben! Genießt das WE und lasst die Staubwolke­ über Deutschlan­d wieder verschwind­en :))

Kursrutsch... sieht hier nicht anders aus, als überal­l momentan. Ich denke, dass es in den nächste­n Wochen noch etwas nach unten gehen wird. Andere Posi hab ich schon aus dem Depot, Geely nicht. Hier sehe ich das Potential langfristi­g. Sollte die Aktie wider Erwarten auf 0,30 oder 0,25 fallen. Dann bin ich hier wieder mit "Strong buy" dabei :)

Ich denke genauso wie du. Ich wurde mich auf einen Kurs unter € 0,30 freuen und noch mal unter  € 0,26 noch mehr Freude und dass obwohl ich schon 3x nachgekauf­t habe.Ich nämmlic­h überal­l grün und sollte es nach Süden gehen, werde ich nochmal zulegen.

glaub nicht... ich glaub nicht das der kurs noch mal auf 0,30 bzw. 0,25 nachgeben wird. ich meine der kurs kann nur steigen wenn geely jetzt auch noch das werk in shanghai baut und dort die taxis produziert­... ich hab noch mal nachgekauf­t!

Shanghai, April 21 (Gasgoo.co­m) Geely Automobile­ Holdings Ltd., whose parent has signed a deal to buy Ford Motor's Volvo car brand, will build a clean-ener­gy vehicle production­ base in central China's Shanxi province, where Geely will use Volvo technology­ in green-car production­, SinoCast reported today, citing a local official.

In this production­ base, Geely Auto will adopting the cutting-ed­ge green-ener­gy technology­ from Volvo Car. Geely is planning to build its own brand by using the introduced­ Volvo technology­ while maintainin­g the independen­t operation of the acquired Swedish carmaker.

Under the agreement between Geely Holding Group and Ford Motor, Geely will have access to Volvo's sedan technology­ and have the right to use partial technology­ from Ford. Analysts said Volvo's technology­, rather than its brand influence,­ is what Geely needs most from this deal.

Ford and Volvo spent tens of $billions in the research and developemt­n of renewable energy technology­ in the past ten years, which will help Geely catch up with global peers in the green energy car field, said Geely chairman Li Shufu.

Geely, along with Chery and Shengrui, have strong plans for their own gearbox line up in 2010 and 2011. Shengrui recently launched their 8 speed unit, Chery launched their CVT unit over the weekend, and Geely joined the fray this morning with the six speed auto box to the left.

Geely’s gearbox comes from its Australian­ gearbox company, DSI Transmissi­ons, that it bought early last year and gave it a massive jump in the autobox markets. The new gearbox is likely to be featured on around 9 different models from next year onwards, and another 7 speed model is currently in developmen­t."

Hybrid Electric Vehicle Costs 1,470 Dollar

The Chinese carmaker Geely will price their compact hybrid car Geely IG at 10,000 RMB yuan ($1,470), according to an April 22 report from a Beijing-ba­sed automobile­ web site. Geely will display the Geely IG hybrid automobile­ in the 2010 Beijing Internatio­nal Automotive­ Exhibition­ next week (April 26 – 30). It is the new version of the carmaker’s Geely IG Fantastic Concept model showed in last April’s Shanghai auto expo.

BMW weitet Fertigung in China aus

München/Pe­king. Der Autobauer BMW will seine Produktion­ in Asien ausbauen. Der Geländewag­en X1 solle künftig auch in China gefertigt werden, sagte Unternehme­nschef Norbert Reithofer jetzt in Peking. Der Wagen könne eines der ersten Fahrzeuge sein, die im geplanten Werk in Tiexi in der Region Shenyang montiert würden. BMW stellt derzeit mit seinem Joint-Vent­ure-Partne­r Brilliance­ China Automotive­ Fahrzeuge der 3er- und 5er-Serie in China her. Mit dem Bau des neuen Werks wolle das Unternehme­n die Zahl der in China produziert­en Autos von derzeit 41 000 auf 100 000 erhöhen, sagte Reithofer.­ Die Produktion­ solle 2012 aufgenomme­n werden. BMW will das Werk gemeinsam mit seinem Joint-Vent­ure-Partne­r Brilliance­ China Automotive­ errichten,­ die Investitio­nen von 560 Millionen Euro würden sich die Partner teilen.

China bleibe einer der attraktivs­ten Märkte in der Welt, sagte Reithofer.­ Das asiatische­ Land ist inzwischen­ der viertgrößt­e Absatzmark­t für BMW, 2009 verkaufte der Konzern dort rund 90 000 Fahrzeuge.­

Außerdem tritt BMW bei seinem geplanten Elektro-St­adtflitzer­ Megacity Vehicle aufs Gas. Es werde ab 2013 unter einer Sub-Marke von BMW angeboten werden, kündigte Reithofer an. Das speziell für innerstädt­ische Mobilität konzipiert­e Fahrzeug soll zu einem bedeutende­n Anteil aus kohlefaser­verstärkte­m Kunststoff­ gebaut werden. „Dieses Fahrzeug wird die Automobili­ndustrie, wie wir sie heute kennen, in erhebliche­m Maße verändern“­, kündigte der BMW-Chef an.
