Der Hafen wird verkauft werden, fragt sich nur wann & zu welchem Preis ...
Zwar steht nirgends was von Verkauf (nur vom Risiko des Wertverlustes bezgl. Hafen):
WISCO und World Link werden sich das Projekt zum Schnäppchen - Preis ergattern.
Es wäre schön, wenn hier mit dem Verkauf des Geländes noch gewartet werden könnte, schließlich ist die Hafen Region extrem im Wert wachsend. Aber jeden Monat 100 000 $, und dabei noch anteilig das 17 (13 +30%) Milliarden-Projekt :-((

The Estimate was completed by Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited ("WGM"), Consulting Geologists and Engineers of Toronto, Canada, and resulted in 11.35 billion tonnes of Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources and an additional 12.39 billion tonnes of Inferred Mineral Resources based on a Davis Tube Weight Recovery ("DTWR") cutoff grade of 18%. The Measured and Indicated portion of the Mineral Resource extends over a strike length of 20 km. The Inferred portion of the deposit north and south of the Measured and Indicated Mineral Resource adds an additional strike length of 16 km to the deposit for a total strike length of 36 km. The update reflects an increase of 232% in Measured and Indicated and 794% in Inferred Mineral Resources from the previous estimate as noted in the Company's news release dated August 23, 2011."

The mine project’s promoters: Adriana Resources Inc., whose majority owner is Chinese steel giant Wisco, one of the major subsidiaries of Wuhan Iron & Steel Corp.
And the joint-venture company wants to produce 50 million tonnes of iron a year or more from Lac Otelnuk for up to 100 years.
To do that, they’ll have to go through an environmental and social review of the project — and then sink $13 billion into building the mine complex and the infrastructure it needs.
Adriana has already hired Golder and Associates to produce an environmental and social impact assessment of the project. Golder has completed the environmental baseline fieldwork and now plans to meet and consult with people in the communities which would be affected by the mine.
At the same time, Adriana is fast-tracking a feasibility study that should be ready by the end of the year, the company said earlier this month.
Ehrgeizige Ziele von Adriana
So weit ist Adriana noch nicht. Lac Otelnuk liegt etwa 150 Kilometer nördlich der Stadt Schefferville im Inuit-Gebiet Nunavik. Mit 6,45 Milliarden Tonnen gibt Adriana die Eisenerz-Ressourcen an, der Eisengehalt des Erzes liegt bei 29 Prozent. Produziert werden sollen Pellets mit einem Eisengehalt von 67 bis 69 Prozent. „Wir sprechen von einer anfänglichen Produktion von 50 Millionen Tonnen pro Jahr“, sagt Palmiere.
Zwar gibt es aus der Region Eisenbahnlinien anderer Unternehmen nach Süden nach Sept-Iles oder Port Cartier am St. Lorenz-Strom, aber deren Kapazität ist erschöpft. Für Lac Otelnuk muss eine neue Bahntrasse angelegt werden. Die Gesamtkosten beziffert Palmiere auf 12 Milliarden Dollar, wovon 4,3 Milliarden auf die Anlage zur Herstellung von Pellets, 2,4 Milliarden auf Anlagen zum Zermalen und Anreichern des Erzes und 2,6 Milliarden auf die Eisenbahnstrecke entfallen. Die Mine selbst mit Ausrüstung und Infrastruktur steht nur mit 655 Millionen Dollar in den Büchern.
Chinas Industrie als Partner
Um das zu stemmen, brauchte Adriana Partner. „Wir gingen nach China, um einen Partner zu finden“, berichtete Palmiere. Sie fanden den Partner in WISCO. Mit rund 91 Millionen Dollar engagiert sich WISCO, eine Tochtergesellschaft der WISCO-Gruppe (Wuhan Iron & Steel Corporation), bei Adriana und im Joint Venture Lac Otelnuk Mining Ltd (LOM). Wisco hält 60 Prozent der Anteile an LOM, Adriana 40 Prozent. 60 Prozent der Produktion sollen nach China gehen.
Eine Machbarkeitsstudie (Feasibility Study) soll 2012/2013 ausgearbeitet werden, parallel dazu soll das Environmental and Social Impact Assessment erfolgen und mit den Inuit das „Impact and Benefit Agreement“ ausgehandelt werden. CEO Palmiere hofft, dass der Bau zwischen 2014 und 2017 erfolgen und 2017 mit der Produktion begonnen werden kann.

ist eigentlich auch eher negativ zu werten.
Habe vor ziemlich genau 5 Jahren
mit 'nem kleineren Invest angefangen, scheibchenweise zugelegt,
und Ende 2008 als ausdrückliche Long - Position großzügig aufgestockt :-))
So gesehen, ist es für mich ok, hier noch weiterhin zuzuwarten,
zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt neu einsteigen, würde ich aber ganz sicher nicht...

ja man kann nur hoffen das WPX nicht so endet. Aber vergleichen kann man beide Projekte nicht. Erstmal politisch unstabil und nur 1,2 MIO Tonnen pro Jahr für 30 Jahre. WPX politsich stabil 2,8 Mio Tonnen über mind. 40-50 Jahre und die niedrigsten Produktionskosten. Die Chinesen kennen nur billig das ist das Problem die werden sich hüten einen marktüblichen Preis zu zahlen. Hoffe eher auf eine Übernahme durch Mosaic oder Agrium.
Adriana läßt den Ausstieg aus dem bras. Hafenprojekt (sepetiba bay) prüfen ...
Der Kurs hat wohl nicht mehr viel Spiel nach unten...
Liegt eh schon 10 can Cents /share nur unter dem EK ...
