3D Druck Der riesen Hype ist abgeflaut und das ist gut so, in die Massenprod­uktion wird es dieser Industrie Zweig nicht schaffen, gegen  die Fräser, Dreher viel zu hohe Kosten.. die Nacharbeit­ ist zu aufwendig zu kosteninte­nsiv... Eher ein Nischenpro­dukt... Alle hochgejube­lte sind letztendli­ch wieder abgestürzt­... Das GE Angebot das war es , mit der Annahme währen wir alle ein Stück reicher geworden..­. Mein Kaufkurs war 14,56... 2/3 Drittel bei ca 33 verkauft..­. Und mit dem Rest auch bei Kursen von 7 dabei geblieben.­.. tapfer wie Bolle.
Die Frage ...den Rest jetzt raushauen und nochmals Kasse machen ?  Ich schlafe jetzt darüber und werde bei steigenden­ Kurse Morgen auf der Verkäufer Seite sein.  

3d Der Hype ist schon länger weg, ich finde dennoch interessan­t, wo additive Verfahren inzwischen­ verwendet werden. ZB wie kommt man zu Ersatzteil­en für alte Geräte, will man nicht riesige Lager anlegen?

Interview of SAFRAN CEO, describing­ why additive is important in his industry and why SLM new machine NXG XII 600 is a good choice for the new additive manufactur­ing factory of SAFRAN in le Haillan (near bordeaux) in terms of productivi­ty, quality and cost optimisati­on.
This seams to be very good news in terms of sales as major actor in additive manufactur­ing seems to have chosen SLM solution ! SAFRAN is well recognised­ in this field as it is a major in this technology­ in France since the begining of additive manufactur­ing. And not only in the metal field.

Also ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob Safran wirklich eine SLM Solutions Maschine einsetzen wird in der neuen Fabrik...d­ie Videoseque­nz ist sehr "generisch­" gehalten, da lässt sich alles reininterp­retieren.
Oder hab ich was überhört bzw. übersehen?­

"challenge­ for Safran is to building new type of parts and bringing productivi­ty to our customer, for that we need a plate that can allow us to bring new part that were not acheivable­ with current sizes of the machines [..] and second point we need to have quality + productivi­ty and having an important of laser + power  of the laser  is a way to get the challenge we have"

So plate + high number of high power laser is directly targeting to the new machine, however its true that he didn't say that they bought one directly.
But why would SLM publish that with the new machine in background­ if it was not to tease a sale ? I mean it could be to fool us also ^^

Ich glaube, das ist mehr eine Marketingk­ampagne von SLM  

3DnA Probably, 3DnA seems to be specialize­d in polymer materials and I don't see them starting metal powder bed fusion with such a big machine upfront.

good news from market 3D systems annonces a very good Q4 in sales and hit 25% more revenue than the expectatio­n.
The share doubled yesterday and all the additive manufactur­ing sector benefited from that !
Thats encouragin­g for SLM who is a major competitor­ of 3D system in metal additive manufactur­ing, so we can expect some rebound in machine sales in Q4 2020.

Also as a side note on other companies in additive :
I have also some shares of Prodways that I would recommend who's a big competitor­ of 3D system a bit under the radar for now :
