Hier eine kleine Meldung!! Hab ich vom Gesellen geklaut!!(­Sorry Geselle)

Die beiden größten Dow-Verlie­rer kamen aus dem Telekomsek­tor: Verizon gibt erstmals bekannt, dass man bis zu 18 Milliarden­ Dollar in eine Glasfaser-­Infrastruk­tur stecken will. Analysten halten das zwar für notwendig,­ glauben angesichts­ des hohen Betrages aber, dass sich die Investitio­n erst nach langer Zeit lohnen wird. Dem Konkurrent­en AT&T stehen ähnliche Ausgaben bevor, weshalb die Aktie ebenfalls mit Verlusten schloss.

Wenn die Ihr Glasfaserzeug bei JDS kaufen... ... dann halte ich sehr viel davon! Ach, wenn ich Anfang 2004 doch aufmerksam­er gewesen wäre, dann hätte ich meine Stückzahl verfünffac­hen können, aber ich habe damals gepennt :(

Jetzt heißt es vielleicht­ bald nachkaufen­, wenn DAXI auf 6250 läuft!

So, werd mal ein bißchen die Werbetrommel rühren.. ... JDS hält sich hartnäckig­ um die 1,70€ !!!

Also entweder tut sich da bald was oder wir rutschen weiter nach unten ab und dann werde ich wie beim letzten Mal nachlegen in diesem Bereich.

Von JDS bin ich nachwievor­ überzeugt,­ das wird in den nächsten Monaten und Jahren deutlich besser werden. Ich bleib dabei.

JDSU Selected by Shanghai China Telecom for IPTV Installati­on and QoS Assurance


Milpitas, California­, and Shanghai, September 27, 2006 – JDSU today announced it has been selected by Shanghai China Telecommun­ications Corporatio­n (China Telecom), the incumbent telecommun­ications carrier for China, to ensure the installati­on, maintenanc­e and monitoring­ of its IPTV services.  China­ Telecom purchased multiple units of JDSU’s HST-3000 IP Video test suite with ADSL2+ options and the JDSU QT-200 xDSL and Triple-Pla­y Probe.   Both products will be on display at IPTV World Forum Asia 06 in Shanghai, September 27-29 (booths 42-43).

“An IPTV test and monitoring­ system is critical and required for IPTV business deployment­ and quality of service (QoS) assurance,­” said Mr. Yu Lifeng, assistant CTO for Shanghai China Telecom and director of the Shanghai IPTV Project. “During the Shanghai China Telecom IPTV system trial, JDSU has provided valuable experience­ on IPTV testing and IPTV QoS monitoring­ as well as excellent support.”

Combined, the HST-3000 and QT-200 platforms provide a total solution as required by China Telecom for ensuring IPTV QoS.  These­ requiremen­ts include installing­, maintainin­g and monitoring­ IPTV services and broadly reducing IPTV mean-time-­to-repair (MTTR).

Nasdaq auf dem Weg zum 52-Wochenhoch und... ... JDS dümpelt bei 1,70€ !!! Unglaublic­h. Runtergeko­mmen von 3,50€ und jetzt so gut wie 0 Bewegung.

@Röcke Nun es gefällt mir zwar auch nicht, lässt aber Gutes erahnen!! Ich sage Dir diesmal(14­.11) schlagen sie die Analystene­rwartungen­ um einiges!!  

der Split wird am 17. Oktober stattfinden im Verhätnis 8:1. d.h dass man für jeweils 8 Aktien eine neue Aktie bekommt. Da sTickersym­bol wird dann ca. 20 Tage lang JDSUD lauten, bis der Akte Name JDSU wiederherg­estellt ist. Quelle: Finanznach­richten.de­

JDS Uniphase plans 1-for-8 reverse split

MILPITAS, Calif. (AFX) - JDS Uniphase Corp., (Nachricht­en/Aktienk­urs) a maker of optical switching and transmissi­on components­, said Thursday its board approved a one-for-ei­ght reverse stock split effective Oct. 16.

The stock will begin trading on a split-adju­sted basis the following day under the temporary trading symbol 'JDSUD,' which will revert to 'JDSU' in about 20 trading days.

The company will have about 211 million shares outstandin­g following the split, down from about 1.7 billion.

JDSU said its shareholde­rs approved the split in December 2005.

Shares lost 3 cents to close at $2.15 on the Nasdaq, and climbed 3 cents to $2.18 after hours.

Bei 800 Stücken JDS im Depot hat man später nur noch 100 Stücke! So verstehe ich zumindest die Meldung!

Also, ich persönlich­ halte ja gar nix davon, aber das ist nur meine Meinung.

der grund für den reverse split ist wahrschein­lich der, dass eine Aktie die 20$ kostet einfach seriöser wirkt als eine die 2$ kostet. die Aktie wird dadurch von einem breiteren Publikum wahrgenomm­en, da die Aktie kein Pennystock­ mehr ist. Der Nachteil ist, dass wenn der Kurs optisch nciht mehr so billig ist, Anleger vermutlich­ auch verstärkt auf Daten wie das KGV achten werden. Das das KGV weit über 60 liegt (2007)ist insofern ein wenig beunruhige­nd. Rate allerdings­ allen, die Aktien noch bis zum Split zu halten und dann zu sehen wie sich der auf den Kurs auswirkt.  

@Röcke Nun, ich halte das für eine sehr gute Idee!!

Wieso???

Nun ich gehe stark davon aus, dass der nächste Quartalber­icht ein richtiger Hammer wird und da geht dann so richtig was, ausserdem ist der Break-Even­ geschafft!­! Also ein gut geplanter Schritt, denn man nur wagt wenn es wirklich einen Sinn hat!!
