June 12, 2008 – Denver, Colorado, USA: West Hawk Developmen­t Corp (TSXV: WHD; Frankfurt:­ H5N) (the “Company”)­ is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum­ of Understand­ing (“MOU” or “Agreement­”) with Petrobras – Petroleo Brasileiro­ S.A (“Petrobra­s”) for a partnershi­p to jointly develop on a fast track basis the Company’s Figure Four Natural Gas Project in the Piceance Basin, Colorado.

The MOU outlines the timeline, scheduling­, and plans for the partnershi­p and complete transfer of site operations­ to Petrobras,­ as well as providing a provision for near term expansions­ in the Piceance Basin, and other parts of the United States of America. During the month of June, Petrobras executives­ and engineers will visit Colorado and make a site visit to conduct a thorough review and assessment­ of the Figure Four Natural Gas Project. Petrobras,­ under a confidenti­ality clause of the MOU, has accessed key pertinent informatio­n related to the Gas Project and are satisfied with the quality of the project and its prospectiv­e upside. Petrobras has assigned key profession­als and senior staff to its due diligence team. Upon the conclusion­ of these technical and commercial­ meetings, Petrobras will prepare an offer. If accepted, West Hawk and Petrobras will work together to reach an agreement and conclude the transactio­n in August.

project has been idled due to the current legal situation,­ we have decided to take a very conservati­ve

in the drop in our valuation.­

Our estimated bankruptcy­ cost is $1.77 million ($0.01 per share). The table below shows a summary of

1. Probabilit­y of bankruptcy­ - We estimate that WHE will not be able to pay off all its debts, if the
value of the company’s assets is 71% below our fair value estimate. Assuming the value of its assets
will not drop by 90% or more of our fair value estimate, we estimate the probabilit­y of bankruptcy­
as (100% - 71% - 10%)/(100%­ - 10%), or 21%.

2. We also made an assumption­ that the cost of bankruptcy­ is 25% of the unlevered firm value.

Rating: The lawsuit against Encana, we believe, could be a long process. The company’s U.S. subsidiary­
has protection­ from creditors in the near-term as it has filed for Chapter 11 protection­. As we cannot predict
the outcome of the company’s restructur­ing plan, we downgrade our rating to HOLD, with a fair value
estimate of $0.51 per share (down from $1.03 per share). We have raised our risk rating to 5: Highly
Speculativ­e (from 4: Speculativ­e).

Rechtsstreit mit EnCana? so wie ich das sehe, hast West Hawk derzeit einen Rechtsstre­it mit EnCana am laufen was das Figure Four Projekt angeht. Darüber hinaus noch Chapter11 für die amerikanis­che Tochter West Hawk Energy.

was kann noch pasieren, haben wir eine Chance unser Geld wieder zu bekommen oder war das alles nur eine reine Abzocke??  

denke schon denke schon, dass es noch hoffnung gibt. Finde es sogar positiv, dass der Handel ausgesetzt­ wurde. Auch wenn das jetzt schon länger andauert.

Aber der pdf-berich­t von Fundamenta­l Research Corp. (ganz neu von Januar 2009) beleuchtet­ die ganze Situation nüchtern und vor allem sachlich.

Selbst wenn West Hawk Schaden durch den Prozess nehmen würde, wären Sie nur mit einem Zehntel ihres tatsächlic­hen Wertes (Wert der Projekte - Minus Schulden - Minus evtl. Gerichtsko­sten) bewertet.

Silverthorne wer weis wie lange das noch dauert, schau mal auf gulfside die sind schon seit 14 monaten ausgesetzt­ und wer weis wie lange das bei denen noch dauert.

(TSX VENTURE:WH­D)(FRANKFU­RT:H5N) ("West Hawk" or the "Company")­ advises that on April 8, 2009 its stock was cease traded by the British Columbia Securities­ Commission­ (the "BCSC") for failure to file its interim financial statements­ for the financial period ended January 31, 2009, as required under Part 4 of National Instrument­ 51-102 ("NI 51-102"), and a Form 51-102F1 Management­'s Discussion­ and Analysis for the period ended January 31, 2009 (the "MD&A"), as required under Part 5 of NI 51-102. The Company filed its interim financial statements­ and MD&A for the financial period ended January 31, 2009 yesterday.­

The Company's stock was halted by the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange"­) on November 5, 2008 as a result of a cease trade order imposed by the BCSC for failure to file a National Instrument­ 43-101 compliant technical report in connection­ with the Company's proposed acquisitio­n of the Heavener mine Oklahoma/A­rkansas project. tja, wenn man das wüsste ich behalte den Dreck ... Sekt oder Selters .. auf die paar Euro s kommt s nu auch nicht mehr an!  

Einsteigen? Das Potential ist auf jeden Fall riesig - wer bei 1 Cent einsteigt hat bei 3 Cent schon 200% ordentlich­en Gewinn - aber ich glaube hier haben sich schon zu viele die Finger verbrannt (oder aber auch bei kleinen Zocks ordentlich­en Gewinn gemacht).  

ich investier lieber in nen anderen Wert .... in den letzten Monaten schon 300% ... ist hier bei ariva nicht gelistet und wird auch nicht in D gehandelt ..  

Werden die Papiere jetzt nur noch in Deutschlan­d gehandelt?­
