Fonix Voice Interfaces Soon Available for PlayStation2

Fonix joins Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.'s Tools & Middleware Program to offer voice command solution to game developers worldwide
SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 2, 2004-- Fonix® Corp. (OTC BB: FNIX), an international provider of easy-to-use voice interfaces for devices and systems, has joined the Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) Tools & Middleware Program to integrate Fonix voice command interface solutions into PlayStation®2 game titles. Fonix anticipates selling its voice command solution for PlayStation®2 to global game developers early in 2004.
We believe that PlayStation® is recognized as the undisputed world leader in the games entertainment industry. Now PlayStation®2 software title developers can add Fonix's superior voice interface to game titles, making the player's experience more engaging, exciting and realistic.

The Fonix voice command solution is available to game developers in multiple languages, including English and U.K. English, German, French, Spanish and Japanese.
