Ich finde es ist an der Zeit, diesem Frontline-Sprössling einen eigenen Thread zu widmen.
Bisher wurde dazu unter einem Frontline-Thread gepostet:

Frontline Ltd.: Sealift Ltd. Completes Private Placement
HAMILTON, BERMUDA, (NAMC) - With reference to our press release dated January 14, 2007, Frontline Ltd. ("Frontline" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that Sealift Ltd. ("Sealift") has successfully completed a private placement and raised $180 million in equity. Frontline has invested $60 million in the company and will thereby end up as a 33% shareholder. The subscription was heavily oversubscribed. The equity offering was managed by Pareto Securities ASA, Carnegie ASA and Fearnley Fonds ASA.
Sealift has agreed with Frontline to acquire four heavy lift vessels where Frontline has the total responsibility for the conversion from suezmax vessels to heavy lift vessels. The price for each heavy lift vessel is $100 million after completed conversion. The first vessel, Front Sunda, is already undergoing conversion to a heavy lift vessel and estimated delivery of all the four units will be in the period April 2007 through January 2008. Three of the vessels will be chartered back to Frontline on bareboat rate of $15,000 per day per vessel for a period until the conversion takes place.
Sealift will also acquire two further suezmax sister vessels from Frontline including option contracts with a yard to convert these to heavy lift vessels. The price for each vessel being $38 million. Conversion cost for these vessels is expected to be in the region $40 to $45 million.
Sealift's total investment before conversion of vessel five and six will be $476 million, adjusted for working capital. The company will be financed through a combination of the $180 million raised in equity, a $110 million bond facility, bank loan and a short term seller credit from Frontline which will be repaid when the vessels have been delivered converted from the yard.
In order to complete this transaction Frontline and Ship Finance International Limited ("Ship Finance") has agreed to terminate the long term lease arrangement between the parties for five of the vessels involved in this deal. Frontline will buy out the outstanding lease commitments for these five Suezmax vessels for $183.7 million and will in addition receive $62.4 million from Ship Finance as a compensation for the termination of the charters. The termination payment is based on the profit-sharing agreement between the two companies.
The net profit and liquidity effects for Frontline of the transaction and the long term earnings effect can not be estimated at this stage. This will depend upon the cost and timing of the conversions, the results from the bareboat charters and most importantly the value development of Frontline's investment in Sealift.
It is expected that the completion of the transaction and the participation in Sealift will contribute materially positive to Frontline's earnings and liquidity short term as well as strengthen the Company's balance sheet and dividend capacity long term.
Chief Executive Officer of Frontline Management AS, Mr. Bjoern Sjaastad says in a comment: We are very pleased with this transaction and the response Sealift got in the market. We have through the transaction proven the point that there is significant value enhancement in finding alternative use of single hull tonnage.

Consummation of the transaction is likely to improve short and long term earnings and thereby the valuation of the Sealift shares. The transaction might also include contribution of new equity at an issue price significantly higher than current OTC price.
The Board has in view of this investigated the possibility to suspend the trading of the Company's shares on the OTC market until final outcome of these discussions is expected later in the week. Since such a suspension has been difficult to achieve the Board feel that it is proper to inform the market that essential strategic discussions are taking place. However no assurance can be given that a transaction will be completed.

Frontline als Mutter des Ablegers ist etwas bekanntermassen Solides. Deshalb habe ich keine Bedenken gehabt, auch bei Sealift einzusteigen.

erst mal danke für deinen Link a.z. Ist sehr hilfreich. da sieht man mal das sealift
gar nicht mal so wenig gehandelt wird in Norwegen.
Heute hat sich der Kurs auch gut gehalten. Muss man schon 2,90 Euro zahlen pro Stück (bei DAB BANK). Denk mal das morgen (da frontline in usa auch 3% gewonnen hat) vielleicht schon die 3,00 Euro Marke knacken werden. Bin eh long investiert in beiden Aktien. Frontline allein schon wegen der Dividende und die haben mit sicherheit bald wieder auch ein Spin off wie damals mit Ship Finance. Da war der Urlaub dann auch Gratis.
Sealift gebe ich erst wieder bei 8-10 Euro weiter. Mal sehen ob es klappt. hab aber ein sehr gutes Gefühl dabei. Allein schon das die hier noch kein Mensch kennt, bzw. investiert, so was ist immer eine gute Vorraussetzung . ALso dann auf morgen in Richtung Norden.

Über die Kursentwicklung kann man sicher nur spekulieren so lange Frontline sich nicht konkreter über die Perspektive auslässt.
Allerdings sprichst Du Ship Finance an. Und da würde ich durchaus Parallelen vermuten wollen.
So schnell gebe ich jedenfalls kein Stück aus der Hand!

Ich glaube mit dem 3er-Pack
FRONTLINE + SHIP FINANCE (als Dividenden Hochkaräter)
und jetzt SEALIFT (als Zukunftswert)
kann man kaum etwas falsch machen. Da sind immer entweder die Charts oder die Ausschüttungen ein Grund der Freude.

Da war ein Merger mit einer anderen Corporation, Dockwise. Das wird wirklich noch Freude machen.
Hatte auch erst Bedenken bei SEAL(kleines Listing in FFM, wenig Infos), vor allem auch, weil Frontline direkt Verträge über die ausgegliederte Corporation schreibt; dachte erst, SEAL wurde ausgegliedert, um Risiken aus FRO rauszunehmen...
In der Tat ist man mit dem Dreiergespann sehr gut dabei.
By the way: habt Ihr ein NOK- oder USD-Konto, oder lasst Ihr die Dividenden konvertieren?

SEAL - Completion of Business Combination with Dockwise
Reference is made to the announcements made on 27 April, 2007. Sealift Ltd. has on the 4 May, 2007 successfully completed the combination of its businesses with the Dockwise group of companies. The private placement announced on 27 April, 2007 was also completed on 4 May, 2007 in conjunction with the completion of the business combination. Sealift Ltd. will after the combination of businesses have 203,996,791 outstanding shares, of which 90,000,000 were the previously existing shares, 94,096,791 are new shares issued to the shareholders of Dockwise and 19,900,000 are new shares issued in the private placement. The shares will continue to be listed on the Oslo OTC market, and funds managed and advised by 3i Investments plc (29.5%) are the largest shareholder. Frontline Ltd. will be the second largest shareholder with an ownership of 17.1% of the outstanding shares. Sealift Ltd. May 4, 2007

Schnarchnasen in FFM
An der Leitbörse Oslo war heute morgen SEALIFT gehandelt mit
NOK 28,50 (= EUR 3,50)
und in FFM lag Brief bei EUR 3,29.
Da hab ich mal kurz zugelangt.
So schön kann Börse sein.

Sealift
leider kann man sehr wenig über Sealift nachlesen. Bei Wallstreet-online gibt es nicht mal ein Forum. Scheint so das dieser Wert immer noch nicht wirklich bei vielen angekommen ist. in oslo bleibt der Kurs einigermaßen Stabil mal 27,5 mal 26,5 kronen.
Denk mal der wird erst mal eine zeit bei diesen Wert stehen bleiben. Die Schwankungen in Franfurt werde ich weiter gut beobachten da kann mal schon mal schnell auch a bisserl zocken, ansonsten bleib ich mit meinen erstkauf (2,19 Euro) natürlich long.
Denk mal vielleicht 6-12 Monate ist das ganz gut angelegt. GRuß TMTM
