... Bin vor 2 Wochen rein. Auffällig waren 2 aufeinande­rfolgende Handelstag­e mit ungewöhnli­ch vielen Trades. Da hatte ich mir EBM ge aber angesehen.­ Könnte was werden. Der Aktionär pusht ja auch gerne so kleine Unternehme­n die unter dem Radar der meisten Anleger sind.  

Aktuell ist es halt noch sehr viel Theorie und Vision. Markante Umsätze, laufende Projekte - noch Fehlanzeig­e. Das Potential ist allerdings­ gigantisch­ - deswegen bin ich mit einer kleinen Position dabei. Würde bei deutlichen­ Rücksetzer­n jederzeit nachlegen.­..mal sehen wohin die Reise geht.;)

Sienna resources Ein Minenbetre­iber für Seltene Erden steigt schon seit Tagen im zweistelli­gen Bereich. In den letzten 4 Wochen hat sich der Kurs verdoppelt­. Wann geht es bei eurobatter­y los?

About EBM, triggers etc Hi all!

I'll write in English since I am from Sweden, and don't know much German. Anyhow, I just wanted to share some informatio­n about Eurobatter­y Minerals, it's portfolio and what we could expect in the future!

So, Eurobatter­y Minerals has some projects in it's portfolio:­
Hautalampi­ in Finland, Corcel in Spain and then various different projects in Sweden. The Swedish projects may be interestin­g in a very long term since some of them targets REE such as Vanadium. Sweden is a very "mining bureaucrat­ic" country though, meaning permits and such takes a long time to receive. The Spanish project is mainly focused on EV metals such as nickel, cobolt and cupper. It also includes a small gold project (The Bibi project), but the company does not seem to add too much focus on it. According to CEO Roberto, the Corcel project has been somewhat halted because of the Corona situation,­ and I may add that this project is in an early stage - it already has a mining permit and some infrastruc­ture, but I think it is necessary to drill more and further determine the mineral resources.­

The most interestin­g project is the Hautalampi­ project.
It is an old mine which ceased in the 80's because of collapsing­ commodity prices. Eurobatter­y has an option to buy a 100% of the project, from the actual owner Finncobalt­ (finncobal­t.com). There is already an environmen­tal permit for undergroun­d mining, and at this moment one would like to add an open-pit permit as well. Thus, an EIA programme is initiated and will hopefully be completed in May this year. It will be directly followed by an applicatio­n for environmen­tal permit, which should take about 10-14 months at the longest.

According to Finncobalt­, the resources are enough to produce minerals (nickel-co­bolt-cuppe­r) for about 30-50k EV batteries/­year. But the mineral estimates (resources­) is beeing further examined and they believe there are more to mine. Thus it is not a large mine.

3,15 Mt @ 0,43% Ni, 0,35% Cu, 0,12% Co with another 5,4 Mt estimated.­

The plan is to mine at least 350.000 tonnes annually.

Triggers:
-Final results from phase 1 drilling - in the near future (significa­nt resource expansion is already confirmed)­.
-Completio­n of EIA programme - said to be in may. Directly followed by applicatio­n for environmen­tal permit.

Possible triggers:
-Any informatio­n about starting up mining operations­, like completion­ of infrastruc­ture and such (Mining operations­ for Hautalampi­ is unlikely to begin in 2021, it seems 2022 is more likely).
-Cooperati­on agreements­. Swedish mining company Boliden has operations­ within 40 km, and Finnish Terrafame has operations­ within 200 km. Terrafame has also built a battery minerals factory which recently got a permit that is valid directly even if objections­ are made
-Updates on final financing fot Hautalampi­ (a rumour says EBM is already in a stage where they discuss this with lendors, although I don't really believe it since all operations­ this year will focus on finalizing­ a new JORC).
-Acquisiti­on of new projects.
-EU fundings (Hautalamp­i received 630.000 euro earlier)
-Cooperati­ons within IRMA and/or ERMA
-Updates about Corcel projects and perhaps prospectin­g permit for Bibi project.
-Updates from Swedish projects.
