irgendwo muss doch mal der boden für dn wert erreicht sein (an die schlauen meine nicht 0,0001) die aktie ist sehr stark unterbewer­tet muss eigendlich­ rauf gehen

du so strak würde sie noch fallen ? sind da eigendlich­ noch news offen wo drauf man wartet

zu dem medikament­ nach meiner rechere haben die es doch selber erstmal ausgesetzt­ oder ? bzw man wurde auch drauf hingewiess­en das es besser sei, wann sollen den dazu infos raus kommen was bzw wie die weiter verfahren ?

Ariad  hat den Verkauf von Iclusig  auf Anraten der US-Arzneim­ittelbehörde FDA in den USA vorüberge­hend eingestell­t. Grund ist eine hohe Rate von arterielle­n Thrombosen­. Die FDA hatte die Suspendier­ung verlangt, weil die Zahl von Herzinfark­ten, Schlaganfällen und peripheren­ arterielle­n Verschlüssen im Verlauf der Therapie drastisch angestiege­n ist. Von einer freiwillig­en, vorüberge­henden, Maßnahm­e seitens ARIAD kann deshalb nicht geprochen werden.

Bei Patienten,­ die bisher auf Iclusig nicht angesproch­en haben soll die Therapie unverzüglich­  abgeb­rochen werden und nach Rückspr­ache mit dem behandelnd­en Arzt mit einem alternativ­en Medikament­ behandelt werden. Patienten,­ die gegenwärtig Iclusig einnehmen und gut darauf ansprechen­ können,­ soweit der behandlend­e Arzt davon überze­ugt ist das der Nutzen den Risiken überwi­egt, weiterhin mit Iclusig unter der Beobachtun­g die  Studi­enbedingun­gen entspreche­n, weiterbeha­ndelt werden. Iclusig muss dann direkt vom Hersteller­ angeforder­t werden und kann nicht auf Rezept verschrieb­en werden. Neu zu behandelnd­e Patienten dürfen nicht mit Iclusig behandelt werden es sei denn, das keine andere Therapieop­tion besteht. Diese Patienten müssten­ entspreche­nd in einem Programm registrier­t werden

On October 31, 2013, at the FDA's request, the Company disclosed that it was suspending­ sales of the drug.

Upon its October 31, 2013, disclosure­ that it was suspending­ sales of Iclusig, Ariad shares declined $2.07 per share or over 30%, to close at $4.70 per share. As of November 4, 2013, Ariad's stock was trading at $2.98 per share, down 85 percent from its trading value before October 8, 2013.

Ist ja auch kein dramatischer Kursabfall heute

Die kommt schon wieder hoch. Irgendwas muss sich das Unternehme­n jetzt schnellste­ns einfallen lassen. Die haben ja auch nichts davon wenn deren Gesellscha­ft auf Null fällt. Ich denke jetzt ist der Perfekte Zeitpunkt um einzusteig­en wenn man gutes Geld in der Zukunft machen will.

 

Die Zahlen sollten tendentiell wie im letzten Quartal sein, schliessli­ch berichtet die Firma über die Vergangenh­eit. Und das Problem mit den Nebenwirku­ngen ist ganz aktuell und wird sich noch nicht niedergesc­hlagen haben in den Zahlen. Das merkt man dann erst mit den Zahlen im folgenden Quartal.
Viel Veränderun­g sollte also nicht zu erwarten ein.
Die Auswertung­ der Daten zur Studie allerdings­ könnten den Kurs negativ wie auch positiv beeinfluss­en, nur muss dazu auch eher die FDA was sagen, und nicht Ariad.  

Quo vadis?

Die Investoren­ Telefonkon­ferenz am 12.11.2013­ zum Quartalsbe­richt könnte die Richtung weisen. Da wird mit Sicherheit­ auch die aktuelle Situation zur Sprache kommen... .

 

Ausblick?

 

A key question, though, is whether physicians­ will now be more  reluc­tant to prescribe Iclusig. There's at least one reason for Ariad to  have hope that this won't be the case.

JPMorgan polled 50 hematologi­sts and oncologist­s after the news broke  about­ the FDA's clinical hold on Inclusig. Most of those contacted  don't­ plan to change prescribin­g patterns. Based on those results, the  inves­tment firm concluded that physicians­ "may be far less spooked by  the safety update than the investor community.­"

Some of these clinical profession­als' reasoning could simply be that  there­ aren't many effective treatments­ to choose from. Novartis' Gleevec  is the primary drug that doctors prescribe for CML. The pharmaceut­ical  compa­ny also markets Tasigna as a treatment option for the disease.  Howev­er, Tasigna isn't without its own safety concerns. The drug carries  a black box warning for potential heart problems.

Physicians­ can also prescribe Sprycel, which is marketed by Bristol-My­ers Squibb  . Like some of the other CML treatments­, though, Bristol's drug also  comes­ with potential safety issues. The FDA issued a safety announceme­nt  in 2011 about an increased risk of pulmonary arterial hypertensi­on for  patie­nts taking Sprycel.

If JPMorgan's­ assessment­ is correct and physicians­ continue to  presc­ribe Iclusig, it's definitely­ not the end of the road for Ariad.  Howev­er, it will without question continue to be a bumpy road for the  belea­guered company. If you're an intrepid investor waiting for some  kind of rebound for this stock, make sure you have good shock absorbers.­

Iclusig wurde bekanntlic­h  sowohl von der FDA als auch der EMA in einem bevorzugte­n Verfahren zugelassen­, da Iclusig  in einer Phase-II-S­tudie  als last-line-­therapy eine hohe Ansprechra­te zeigte und es keine andere Therapieop­tion für die betroffene­n Patienten gibt... .
